A lesser known lookout in Queen Anne, this park offers picturesque views of the city from the top. The unique space is far more picnic friendly than Kerry Park, and there’s a playground on the lower levels.

Best for: City views, family-friendly

5.

Leschi Park

This park has great beach access, peekaboo bellevue and water views, and is large enough to spread out. Nestled between a large greenspace and a quaint retail strip, this park has multiple areas that are perfect for picnicking. Whether you want to be right on the water, a secluded by foliage but with water views, or completely enclosed on the upper lawn, this easy-access location is perfect for picnics of all sizes.

Best for: Lake-goers

Need to know: there’s an upper part of the park that’s even more secluded.
